I would like to take this opportunity to say thank-you to the staff of Avalon Motorsports Inc for an awesome day of training.

I had never operated a motorcycle before (I'm sure you couldn't tell, ha ha) but with your patience and super knowledge, you made it so easy to catch on. The instructors ...hmmmm... to sum it up in one word ...nuts... you guys made it so much fun.

Thank-you Brian (awesome instructor) for making me have a stroke, due to pushing Paula around the course. lol. Thanks to you Darrell for the great training you provide. thank-you Kim for simply being you. Paul...what can i say? You made the day a pleasure, with your neverending smile and patience, and last but not least, Bill, thank-you for making me realize how important head checks really are. I hope you all enjoyed that ... I know I did, but I will get you back for that ... count on it. Seriously though, anyone thinking of doing this course, I strongly recommend Avalon Motorsports inc. They are the best!!!

Just a note regarding the course...in a word, excellent! I had a great time; your instructors are top-notch! The whole experience gave me a fantastic foundation for riding. I got my license a month after completing the course, and I've been riding to work just about every day since. Thanks again!

The Avalon Motorsports course was fantastic and I would highly recommend it. Having had no previous experience or training riding a motorcycle, the Basic Rider Course was invaluable. There was a great balance between the in-class instruction and the actual on-course bike riding/learning. As well, there was a great ratio of instructors – students – bikes…one instructor with 1 bike working with 2 students.

The instructors were fantastic; knowledgeable, encouraging and they provided assistance all the way; they were honest, upfront, and fair but firm with the students while driving home, first and foremost, “Safety when Riding.” I am now an official biker – with a license – I realize I still have lots to learn but the course, with its fantastic instructors, provided me with knowledge, as well as the foundation and the nerve to ride….many thanks to all of the instructors and their patience.

Great course, I did not have any experience what so ever with motorcycles prior to the course and I'm happy to report that I have my beginners permit and that I'm taking my time learning how to ride my bike, a 1983 Suzuki GS 550L. Rodger, Jackie, Kim and Darrell were awesome.

I have gone on a number of rides with my husband who did the course last year and I am getting more and more comfortable. We have made a couple of trips through the Humber Valley / Deer Lake / Pasadena area.

It is amazing how many people are getting into biking and I tell everyone who says that they are intertested to call Darrell and the gang at Avalon Motorsports.
